Mr. Sandgaard, born in Denmark, moved to the United States in 1996 and became a citizen in February of 2018. He founded Zynex Medical, now a publicly traded medical device company focused on prescription strength pain management helping patients avoid or reduce the use of opioids.
He played in dozens of rock bands in the seventies and early eighties, built and worked in recording studios and organized large venue concerts. With an MBA and BSEE he later dedicated his time to a business career. In 2012-2013 he played the lead guitar in the local rock band Arsin.
Thomas Sandgaard is passionate about supporting charities such as Colorado Cancer League, Rachel’s Challenge, There With Care and Dumb Friends League.
Mr. Cress is on the boards and advisory boards of several companies to include Zynex Medical, Rainier Healthcare, Linley Capital, Austin Healthcare Council, Sleep Research, Rainier Hospice, BankSNB and JT Youngblood’s. He also serves on several philanthropic boards to include Rachel’s Challenge and The Neighborhood. He is published and has been a national speaker on numerous healthcare business and clinical topics.
Michael currently serves as Chairman & Managing Partner at MD Cress Ventures, a national healthcare firm that is engaged together with its subsidiaries and other affiliates in a broad range of health care related activities. He previously served as the President and CEO of the Cornerstone Healthcare Group which owns and manages hospitals throughout the country. Mr. Cress also served as Vice President of Business Development for Kindred Healthcare, an $5B publicly traded healthcare company that owns and operates hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation, pharmacy and other segments of the healthcare continuum. He served as the CEO of Vencor Hospital of San Diego and was also an Adjunct Professor for the Masters of Healthcare Administration program at the University of Kansas.
Born in Germany and a U.S. Citizen since her early teens, Nepeta has been in the financial industry for over 38 years. As a former Branch Manager, managing Financial Advisors and Support Staff Members for 20 years, she changed her career path to working directly with clients. Her focus as a Financial Advisor today are in Portfolio and Wealth Management for high net worth individuals, corporations and family foundations.
Nepeta has served as a Director on four non-profit Boards and has volunteered and supported 12 non-profit organizations, including, The Cancer League of Colorado, Curtis Park Community Center, Every Day Pediatrics and Tragedy Assistance for Survivors (TAPS). Pairing her true passion for caring about others and acting in alignment with her deeply held values, has led Nepeta to co-founding Cor2Cor™ Professional Alliance. Cor2Cor™, a Colorado Non-Profit Corporation, focuses on business networking where participants apply the principals of giving, reciprocity, and forming long-term personal and working relationships.
